(1) If you are using a desktop computer with a 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 surround sound card built-in, you can use the front and rear outputs of this for master and headphones. Plug stereo amplified speakers into the front output socket and a pair of headphones into the rear output socket. Brite PRO Infinity Member since 2009 Been having a bitch of a time getting the Hercules RMX and Virtual DJ to run on a new laptop. Sticking to Mac issues as these look easier to fix - Macbook with Snow leopard, VJ 6.04, latest drivers from Hercules (1.77). So far seems fine - except there's no sound coming out of the headphones. The Hercules is lit, VJ looks like it's running fine. Audio Technica Ath-m50 are the best headphones to price ratio. For Dj'ing you need closed back headphones. Buying cheap will end up in the bin. Investing more will not only sound better but also retains its resale value, even if you do break it. Cheap products should not exist, people who buy them are fools. When switching from one DJ software to use another, please turn the DDJ-SR power off and then power back on after software switch has been completed.
Feb 27, 2012 Hi, I think I have the same issue as Rachel I'm using virtual dj LE (7.0.5 LE) with the DDJ Ergo on a Mac. I've configured the settings in the way shown on the video and all the knobs are in the right position. Both the master and cue audio are coming from my headphones. I want to record from my headphones but i can config the fader to work properly I seem to have both Side a and b coming through the left side can any buddy help please.
