One great thing about Zebra is that you can download a demo. I like u-he's work quite a bit.The Omnisphere demonstrations found online sound great. I believe that the only limitation is that you can't save patches and it periodically overlays some noise. A bit of software and a bit (more) of hardware is the way to go in my opinion.
