With the large number of third-party Omnisphere patch libraries avaiable, it's important to be aware that there are some limitations to how Omnisphere can function with them. There is a limit to how many libraries can be listed in Omnisphere's DIRECTORY without truncating Omnisphere Patch categories. Selecting this button will refresh the display of sounds in a Browser. Using the Refresh button will ensure that all of the available sounds are displayed. When changes are made to the library outside of the Browser (e.g. After installing a library update or manually moving custom Patches), or while Omnisphere is open, use the Refresh Button to update the Browser display. With the Go 'drop-down' menu up on the screen hold down your 'alt' key on your keyboard to 'unhide' the Library folder. Select the Library folder and double-click the 'Application Support' folder. Where to place the Patches: Now locate your 'Spectrasonics' folder and go to 'STEAM', 'Omnisphere', 'Settings Library'. Navigate to the User folder, locate the desired files, and rename, relocate, or delete them using your file manager. Refresh the appropriate Omnisphere Browser (s) to reflect the changes, by clicking on the “Refresh” button (the circular arrow in the footer of the Full Browsers). I’ve labelled all my patches with either a ‘#’ at the beginning for Omnisphere soundsources and ‘##’ for Trilian based soundsources and ‘###’ for Multis to make it easier to locate them. You can use this to search for my patches in the ‘Search’ bar on the right hand side of the PATCH BROWSER.
